Transformers - More than meets the Shoe
OK, so we’ve seen the Transformer iPod docks that are due out in June or July, but this is a little too far over the edge, even for a Transformers fanboy like me. They’re shoes.
Yes, shoes that transform into mighty robots, ready to vanquish any foe and fight foot fungus. Too bad you can’t wear the things. They’re about one-half the size of a standard Nike, so I guess you could cram one of your kids’ feet into them, although I’m sure that most small ones today would not appreciate the coolness and awe-inspiring majesty that one would feel by having a Transformer strapped to their feet.
I’d be unstoppable. Whenever some kid wanted to pick on me and try to take my iPod…yep, just have the shoes transform. If that didn’t scare the crap out of somebody, nothing would.
You can pick up your pair of these ultra cool shoes for $59. They’ll be available in May, but you can pre-order now. Ah, the marketing buzz for the Transformers movie is already starting to build. Thank goodness, I was beginning to get worried.
