Take your iTunes library with you
There’s a lot of questions floating around about how people can move songs in their iTunes library from one computer to another. People like to be able to listen to their music on any computer they use, whether it be at work or over at Aunt Betty’s house over Christmas. You know your Aunt Betty, she just can’t stop talking about how her partial just keeps falling out. You’ve got to find some solace somewhere, don’t you?
If your iTunes is on a Windows PC (sorry fellow Mac addicts, we’re out on this one), you can now stream your iTunes music, all your songs and playlists, to any web browser whether it’s on a PC, Mac, or Windows Mobile Smartphone. Avvenu has come up with the Avvenu Music Player to make this all possible.
As long as your base PC is powered and online, you’re good to go. You can even share your playlists with your friends just by plugging in their email address.
Avvenue plays unrestricted MP3, AAC and WMA files. Sorry, no protected songs from iTunes will work.
Avvenu is free for now, it’s still in a beta testing version. I’m going to move some of my songs over to my PC and see how it works and I’ll let you know in a day or so.
