I’m back!
Well, this has certainly been a journey. I started this website just about a year ago with a baby of an idea and a podcast. The podcast has moved on to it’s own site at TechCast Weekly. I hope that some of you may have found this site by listening to the show or by following some random links around to get here.
I’ve been ignoring this site for the last few months and have decided to start blogging here on a permanent basis. Fans of the TechCast are welcome, but I’m finally going to get the chance to go full out geek over here, so just holler if I leave you in the dust.
For other fans of technology, this is the place that you want to be. Let me make one thing abundantly clear right now, I am not an IT professional. At least not yet. I am working on my degree (working, plodding, pondering, moving ever forward at a snail’s pace) in IT, but I just love tech and gadgets. Anything with a chip in it. I love it. Computers, games, game consoles, TVs, DVDs, HD DVDs, and the list goes on and on.
Now I’m going to get the chance to blabber on and on about everything that I love and hopefully you’ll find what I have to say interesting (at least my bank account hopes you find what I say interesting, gotta get out of working retail, stinky poo!).
So hop on and enjoy the ride. I’ll be posting here fairly regularly so go ahead and subscribe to the feed in your favorite reader. And if you like this site, hold on to your seats. I’ve got a few others you might want to check out.
- For the Mac folks, read about my adventures and learnings as I continue the switch to Mac on The Mac Noob.
- If you’re a HDTV fiend and can’t wait to buy a new TV or watch some great HD programming, head over to The HD Experience and get some tips, reviews and comparisons on the best HD products.
- And if you just want to learn more about how to use your computer and learn some cool stuff about computing, check out my podcast, the TechCast Weekly.
- And although I’m still in the launch process, you’ll be able to see all my sites come together in glorious geek splendor and learn how you can become a blogger or a podcaster (and get some help along the way) over at the mothership site for all of 42 Media, providing the answers for all your ultimate new media and technology questions.
OK, I’m done blabbing for now. But stay tuned, there’s more to come!
